Anyone else spotted there might be a wedding happening somewhere?

Putting Will and Kate to one side, even if you’re not marrying a prince, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t feel like a princess on your big day.

Many brides opt for hair extensions to create their dream look. It can make your hair look thicker and more luscious and make it easier to create a style, particularly if you’re want an elaborate up do

With the right extensions you can also keep them in for the honeymoon.

The best thing to do is to shop around. Your regular hairdresser or salon might not have trained technicians used to fitting hair extensions.

Ill-fitting or badly applied hair extensions can not only damage your own hair but they won’t look smooth or natural.

Do your research online or ask friends. If you spot someone whose hair extensions you like, ask them where they got them done.

Bring a picture showing the look you want to achieve. It’s easier to show a technician a picture rather than trying to describe the look you’re going for.

Have the hair extensions fitted well in advance. You might well be having your hair styled on the day but you want to get used to them and get used to styling them yourself.

Use products specifically designed for hair extensions. You don’t want a shampoo or conditioner with any alcohol in it as it will strip the hair of essential oils that keep it soft and luscious.

Think about any headdress or veil you plan to wear. Talk to your stylist about how to arrange it with your hairstyle.

As any bride will tell you, planning is always key to a stress-free wedding day and there’s no reason why that shouldn’t apply to your hair.
